Bringing together pro bono lawyers, law schools, paralegals, social workers, and prison systems on a connected digital platform to drive systemic change for undertrials across India.
At Project ALT, we place families at the centre of our work. Our approach is designed to guide them across this legal chasm by connecting them with a community of stakeholders—pro bono lawyers, law schools students, paralegals and social workers. By building a technology platform that weaves together these diverse actors, we ensure families are not left to carry the burden alone.
Instead, they gain access to legal representation, social support, and timely information. These interventions directly help accelerate cases—lawyers get faster access to case details, students and paralegals can support research and filings, social workers ensure critical follow-ups, and families remain informed and engaged at every stage.
We are individuals coming together from diverse backgrounds with a common passion: to prevent lives from being overlooked in the trial process.
